These rack mount DC Converters accept a wide input range at 24 VDC and 48 VDC nominal, positive, or negative ground, and produce pure 12 VDC, 24 VDC, or 48 VDC power. The solid state circuitry is conservatively designed and semi-conductors are selected and tested to withstand 200% of nominal operating power.

Application: Voltage Compatibility Issues Resolved with Rackmount DC Converters
A telecom system upgrade team discovered last minute that the sites were +24 VDC but the new transmitters required -48 VDC. After some consultation, it was determined that the Rackmount DC-DC Converter, model 24-48-8RM was the ideal solution due to its ability to accommodate positive-to-negative ground voltage isolation, excellent output voltage regulation and continuous duty at full load capability. In addition, multiple unites wired in parallel provides N+1 redundancy.
